About Joël
Joël takes a calm, compassionate, and individualized approach to nutrition and health. He works with clients to create practical nutrition strategies that fit their unique needs, health goals, lifestyle, and relationship with food.
His areas of focus include digestive and gastrointestinal health, chronic disease management (such as diabetes, kidney health, cancer care), and general health and nutrition counselling. He also has experience supporting older adults and individuals with complex health needs.
Joël brings a diverse clinical background to his practice, having worked in acute care hospital settings, diabetes and renal clinics, as well as long-term care. His experience has given him a strong understanding of how nutrition can play an important role in managing health conditions, supporting recovery, maintaining strength and independence, and improving quality of life.
He believes that nutrition care should be individualized and realistic, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. He takes the time to understand each person’s health history, concerns, preferences, and goals before developing a nutrition plan that feels achievable and sustainable.
Joël is passionate about helping people feel more confident around food and nutrition through education, collaboration, and compassionate care. Whether someone is looking for support with a specific health condition or simply wants to improve their overall health, he strives to meet each person where they are and help them take meaningful steps toward feeling their best.
