Their own wordsHello, my name is John-Paul, and I am a CCPA Canadian Certified Counsellor. I have a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology with honours. For more than half a decade, I have worked with trauma survivors, vulnerable individuals, and individuals with other complexities, including borderline personality and addictions. I also have experience in working with individuals experiencing depression and/or anxiety, couples, and men facing mental health challenges.
Being a trauma survivor, I know firsthand the immense courage it takes to seek out help. My goal is to empower you by helping cultivate your innate resilience and equipping you with tools to overcome adversity. To meet clients' unique needs, I utilize an eclectic, personalized approach that integrates evidence-based modalitiles such as CBT, DBT, CPT, SFBT, and more.
