Jonathan has always had a passion helping people move and recover from injuries. Prior to working at Peakform Wellness, he has experience working as a Kinesiologist and Personal Trainer. Jonathan saw the difference active rehab and massage therapy can help with a patients recovery. This led him to complete his Diploma of Massage Therapy program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy. His goal is to educate and improve a persons’ physical and mental wellness. Throughout his massage therapy program, he has participated in outreaches such as: UBC varsity, Douglas College varsity sports teams, Canuck Place, GF Strong Rehabilitation and Royal City Senior Lodge. Jonathan enjoys treating orthopaedic conditions, workplace injuries and repetitive strain conditions. Techniques he uses are trigger point release, active and passive techniques, myofascial release, and joint mobilizations to name a few. Jonathan also offers treatments for ICBC patients. Outside of clinic, Jonathan enjoys getting outside to play tennis, weightlifting, and running around his neighbourhood.
