AjouterJulie is a compassionate and grounded Certified Life Coach and Certified Spiritual Life Coach who supports individuals through the complex and deeply personal process of loss - helping them move forward without forcing them to “move on.” With specialized training in grief and bereavement coaching, Julie understands that grief is not a problem to be fixed, but a process to be honored. Whether the loss is recent or decades old, expected or sudden, she provides a non-judgmental space where clients can explore their emotions safely and at their own pace.

Grief is not linear, and it doesn’t follow a schedule. Whether it’s the death of a loved one, the loss of a relationship, identity, health, a job, a home, or a future that no longer exists. Julie creates a safe and supportive space where clients can give voice to their grief, explore their emotions, and rebuild trust in life after loss. Drawing from a holistic approach that weaves together emotional support, spiritual inquiry, and practical life coaching, Julie works with each person to meet them exactly where they are. Sessions may focus on processing difficult emotions, rebuilding a sense of self, navigating family dynamics, finding meaning, creating rituals/ceremonies for remembrance and healing, continuing bonds or legacy work.
For those facing anticipatory grief—such as preparing for the death of a loved one, supporting someone through terminal illness, or navigating end-of-life —Julie offers trauma-informed, guidance rooted in empathy, clarity and presence through these deeply vulnerable times. This includes space to acknowledge secondary losses, such as shifting family roles, loss of future dreams, changes in identity, or emotional distancing that often begins before the physical death occurs. These layered losses can be subtle yet profoundly impactful, and Julie helps clients name, process, and integrate them into their broader grief experience.

Grief is not about closure, but about transformation – honoring what was, grieving what is, and opening to what may come next. Julie’s goal is never to rush or minimize grief, but to walk beside clients as they learn to carry their loss, live with greater self-compassion, and reconnect with life in meaningful ways.
Julie is available weekdays and weekends for day or evening sessions by phone or video sessions. In-person appointments are available upon request out of the Sherwood Park location.
