Julie McMahon graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2008. She is a goal oriented therapist, and as such has continued to deepen her knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the human body through private practice and extensive continuing education. She develops a specific treatment plan for each patient using assessment and massage techniques such as Deep Tissue, Myofascial, Functional, Swedish, BFI, and Sport Massage.
Her patients include youths, athletes, people with disabilities, pre and post natal, and seniors. Julie's patients appreciate her listening ear and her motivating energy. She believes that optimal health stems from having a balanced physical and mental health and that massage therapy is a key asset in the maintenance of this balance by mitigating the impact of physical pain and/or injury.
Julie is active in outdoor sports such as rock climbing, mountain biking, and kayaking, and enjoys hiking with her dog in the backcountry as well as tending to her organic vegetable garden. She is also fluent in both French and English.
