With a Master’s in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from UBC, Daryl is well-equipped to make a difference in the lives of his clients and their recovery. In addition to holding certifications from the NASM Training Institute in Personal Training and Standard First Aid, Daryl has diverse placement experience, including managing caseloads in mental health at Burnaby Mental Health & Substance Use, high-intensity rehabilitation at GF Strong Inpatient Spinal Cord Unit, and long-term care at Evergreen House. He has also worked in private clinics and acute medical units, providing comprehensive assessments and evidence-based interventions. Daryl’s relevant work experience spans roles as a Kinesiologist at Baseline Health and Wellness Clinic, a support worker/coach at Canuck Autism Network, and an Assistant Fitness Manager and Personal Trainer at Steve Nash Downtown Sports Club. He also served as a Platoon Sergeant in the Singapore Armed Forces and volunteered at Surrey Neuroplasticity Clinic in 2020-2021.
