About Kailyn
Kailyn is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. She works with teens (15+) and adults through a compassionate, collaborative, and client-centred approach to therapy.
She is especially drawn to supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, burnout and overwhelm, ADHD and neurodiversity, relationship concerns, grief and loss, and life transitions. Kailyn believes therapy is a place where you can reconnect with yourself and deepen your relationship with who you truly are. She hopes clients leave each session feeling more hopeful, confident, and better equipped to navigate life's challenges.
She brings a warm, grounded presence to her work and holds space for others with gentleness, curiosity, and care. Kailyn draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Compassionate Inquiry, somatic awareness, attachment-based approaches, and other evidence-informed modalities to support each client's unique goals and experiences.
Kailyn is a certified 200-hour yoga teacher and holds additional training in holistic nutrition. Her personal healing journey has been shaped by years of exploring holistic and integrative approaches to wellbeing. These experiences continue to guide the way she attunes to others and the care she brings into the therapy room.
Outside of being a counsellor, Kailyn finds joy in cooking nourishing meals, yoga, hiking in the mountains, dancing, listening to music (country is her favourite), and going on long walks with a good podcast. Originally from Saskatchewan, she recently relocated to Calgary and is excited to be building both her life and practice in the city. Her core values of genuineness, health, connection, and a touch of adventure are reflected in both the way she lives and the way she supports others through therapy.
