Kaitlyn (they/she) has spent a lifetime caring for people who have complicated, mysterious, and twisty healing to do. If you have cut off access to joy, separated from parts of yourself, or taken on self-criticism or self-hatred to survive, Kaitlyn might be an excellent match as your counsellor. In her practice, Kaitlyn aims to empower patients in their own healing journey and is often described as warm, open and creative. In addition to her expertise in chronic pain management and pain reprocessing, Kaitlyn is trained in: rts work (sometimes called IFS); Pain reprocessing therapy (PRT); Body-based and somatic practices; Sex therapy, including sexual pain, sexual function, and desire; Polyvagal and structural dissociative approaches to trauma; Kink and polyamory-affirming trauma practice; and Emotion-focused therapy. CBT, family systems, and psychodynamic/humanistic In parallel to Western counselling training, Kaitlyn trained in non-Western approaches to healing, including transformative, imaginal, and land-based practices.
