##Kaitlyn's Profile:
Life can be challenging, and sometimes the ways we’ve learned to cope, while once helpful, can leave us feeling stuck. The behaviors that may feel “unhelpful” today often began as adaptive responses to the environments we grew up in. While they may have provided comfort or protection at one time, they can also hold us back from the life we truly want. My role is to help you uncover these patterns with compassion, not judgment, and integrate evidence-based interventions so you can develop healthier, more supportive ways of being with yourself and others.
Our relationship with ourselves is at the core of how we connect with others. The way we think about ourselves, the way we speak to ourselves, and the way we navigate emotions all shape our experiences. By deepening self-awareness and practicing self-compassion, we can begin to shift long-held patterns and foster more meaningful, fulfilling relationships both with ourselves and others. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, self-criticism, relationship challenges, or addiction, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Healing starts with understanding, and I’m here to support you on that journey. As a therapist, my goal is to create a space of warmth, curiosity, and understanding where you can explore the patterns that shape how you think, feel, and relate to the world around you.
I take a trauma-informed, person-centered approach and incorporate evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and attachment-based work. Together, we’ll create a path toward growth, healing, and a life that feels more authentic to you.
