Welcome!
I am a Registered Social Worker, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner® (SEP), and Tao of Trauma & Co-Regulating Touch/Table Work Practitioner based in Waterloo, Ontario.
I offer a compassionate, collaborative space where healing can unfold through both body and mind. My approach is grounded in curiosity, presence, and the belief that each person carries an innate capacity for healing. Together, we explore how past experiences may continue to shape present-day patterns, while gently supporting the nervous system toward greater regulation, resilience, and ease.
I work with adults navigating developmental, pre- and perinatal, relational, intergenerational, and complex trauma, as well as stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, difficult life transitions, and relationship challenges.
Our work may include slowing down, cultivating a felt sense of safety, and learning to listen to the wisdom of the body. Through compassionate attention to bodily sensations, emotions, and nervous system responses, we can deepen self-understanding, strengthen our capacity for connection, and rediscover the parts of ourselves that may have been hidden in the service of survival. As healing unfolds, many people experience greater vitality, authenticity, playfulness, and joy.
My practice is informed by training in attachment theory, human development, developmental and complex trauma, the neurophysiology of trauma, and somatic touch work. I integrate Somatic Experiencing®, Internal Family Systems–informed (IFSCA), and attachment-focused approaches to offer a compassionate, strengths-based, and resilience-oriented framework for healing.
I also offer Co-Regulating Touch/Table Work, a gentle, body-based approach that supports the nervous system in addressing the ways stress, trauma, and emotional pain can become held within the body. This work can foster greater regulation, coherence, and an increased capacity for presence and connection. My training includes advanced somatic touch and developmental trauma studies with Alaine Duncan, Kathy Kain, and Steve Terrell.
To those of you pursuing SEP training, I am qualified to offer Personal Sessions at all levels (Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced).
Outside of my practice, I find nourishment in gardening, working with clay, running, climbing, skiing, playing games, travelling, and embracing the ongoing adventure of life.
