Karmal is a graduate of the Bachelor’s of Kinesiology from The University of the Fraser Valley and a current student of the Registered Massage Therapy Program at VACC in Burnaby. Passionate in helping people find relief from pain. With a strong foundation in sports therapy and a passion for functional movement, Karmal is here to help you move, feel, and perform at your best. Before starting his career in massage therapy, Karmal worked as a volunteer athletic therapist and kinesiologist, supporting athletes through game-day prep and recovery. His hands-on experience in muscle release, joint taping, and muscle correction gives him a unique edge when it comes to treating pain and enhancing performance. Through his training at VACC, Karmal has refined his palpation and assessment skills, gaining in-depth knowledge of anatomy, muscle synergy, and a wide range of massage therapy techniques. Treatments Karmal offers include: Deep tissue massage Swedish massage Sports massage and pre/post-event care Muscle release and trigger point therapy Relaxation-focused massage Pain management and injury prevention When he’s not in the clinic, Karmal keeps active with regular weight training, men’s basketball leagues, and even snowboarding. He also enjoys working with youth athletes in the community, helping them build strong, healthy habits. Karmal looks forward to providing great value to his patients.
