Katelyn is a warm, compassionate, and skilled social worker with 15 years experience in children’s mental health. Her extensive background includes community mental health centres as well as outpatient pediatric psychiatry at both Sickkids and CAMH. Katelyn’s primary focus is working with children, youth, and their parents to address concerns with anxiety, social anxiety, low mood, emotional dysregulation, behaviour concerns, school avoidance, and parent-child or family conflict. She has worked with neurodiverse clients including those with ADHD, FASD, and high functioning ASD. Katelyn offers individual, parent, and family psychotherapy.
Katelyn firmly believes that connection is the foundation of both a meaningful psychotherapy relationship and a nurturing, resilient family life. This is evident in her work with children, youth, and families, where the priority is always ensuring they feel supported, heard, and empowered to create positive change. Katelyn approaches every presenting concern through a trauma-informed and systems-based lens, focusing on treatment that builds confidence, strengthens relationships, and establishes a harmonious balance between warmth and expectations at home.
