About Kathryn
Kathryn is located in Duncan, BC and offers phone and video sessions (limited in-person sessions available as well). Kathryn has a Master of Social Work degree, and has held a variety of positions in the health care field. Kathryn has years of experience providing counselling services to individuals struggling with issues around mental health and substance use. She has a particular interest in assisting people who are struggling with challenging life transitions (divorce, new diagnosis, becoming a caregiver, loss of a loved one, etc), and the potential grief and loss that can follow. Kathryn works with clients who identify experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression. Kathryn practices from a strengths based perspective and draws on Cognitive Behavioral, Narrative, and Solution Focused Therapy techniques. Kathryn sees the therapeutic process as a collaborative effort between client and therapist.
