Kayla is a recent graduate of the Registered Massage Therapy program at Langara and is currently awaiting to take her board exams to be a RMT in March 2025. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer and is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Kinesiology in 2023. With a passion for helping individuals of all ages and abilities, Kayla brings a wealth of experience to her work as a student massage therapist. Kayla has worked with a diverse clientele, ranging from young children to geriatrics, ranging from athletics and performance to rehabilitation. Treatment can start as early as the day of surgery depending on the comfort of the patient. Ideally treatment starts in the early days of healing. This session includes a focused assessment of the jaw, neck, and shoulders to identify muscle tension and joint restrictions. Your RMT will review your symptoms, jaw movement, and any history of pain, clicking, or headaches. Treatment uses targeted soft tissue techniques to relieve pain and improve jaw mobility, with optional intraoral work (with consent).
