Kelly graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education. While attending WLU, Kelly played on the varsity women’s rugby team for five seasons. After graduating from University, Kelly worked and travelled for a few years before deciding to go back to school where she obtained a diploma in Massage Therapy from Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. Kelly has experience treating a variety of conditions in a variety of settings. Techniques include general Swedish massage, trigger point therapies, deep tissue massage, PNF stretching, joint mobilizations, fascial release, and remedial exercise. Kelly has always been involved in sports as a player or coach and understands the importance of living a healthy active lifestyle. She creates a positive, encouraging and educational environment to help clients get back to doing the activities they love. Outside of massage Kelly enjoys the outdoors, reading, staying active, and hanging out with friends and family.
This therapeutic treatment supports pain reduction, injury recovery and improved functional health. It incorporates a range of advanced techniques to address muscles, fascia, joints, connective tissues, and circulation. Sessions are performed over clothing (preferably tank top and shorts for the assessment and treatment). May include gentle abdominal/visceral techniques and cranial-sacral work when appropriate.
