Kristen grew up playing a variety of sports, and after years of waffling between different sports-related career options, she eventually settled on becoming an Athletic Therapist. Kristen graduated with distinction from the U of A Augustana in 2017 with a Bachelors of Arts majoring in Kinesiology and continued to complete her certification in Athletic Therapy at Mount Royal University in 2019.

Although shes just starting out, Kristen has volunteered at the Pickleball Canada National Championship (2021), as the Lead Therapist managing Badminton at the Alberta Winter Games in Airdrie (2019), as a first responder at the Walking with Our Sisters art installation (2018), and as a student therapist at the Elite Canada Rhythmic Gymnastics Competition in Calgary (2019).
Kristen's goal in helping her clients, is to meet their individual needs and to create a plan to optimize their functionality. Whether it be tasks of daily living, riding horses, or returning to sport, Kristen will utilize a variety of manual therapy and exercise therapy techniques to help clients reach their goals.

This appointment will be spent assessing the source of pain or dysfunction. If time allows, the therapist will also provide manual therapy and a home exercise plan at the end of the session.
