Kristen is a registered massage therapist with a strong intuition and passion for healing. After graduating from the Foothills College of Massage Therapy in 2003 and working in the ski industry for a few years she became BC registered and has been with Element Therapeutics ever since. Kristen's style of massage includes Swedish, deep tissue and sports massage. She is also trained in Rapid Neurofascial Reset. She enjoys seeing a variety of patients from seniors, chronic pain and acute injuries to women through pregnancy and children. Kristen’s love of her work comes through in every massage she does. Her treatments are deeply restorative, nurturing and refreshing. In her spare time Kristen can be found spending time with her family or playing in the outdoors and the sports that go with it, including hiking, rock climbing, skiing and surfing.

A 30 minute massage is suitable for smaller areas of the body or for acute injuries that may be too sensitive or unstable for longer treatments. This is also a good treatment length for children.

This is our most common massage treatment. It allows a good amount of time to treat a specific area of the body, as well as the compensating areas surrounding. If you are looking for a full body massage, this length of treatment would be a quick way to skim the surface but will not allow enough time to be thorough.
