LIMITED AVAILABILITY FOR NEW CLIENTS
You may be the person everyone relies on while privately feeling anxious, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from yourself. Perhaps you have learned to keep the peace, carry other people’s emotions, or stay strong even when a part of you feels overwhelmed.
Kritika works with young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, childhood and complex trauma, relationship difficulties, people-pleasing, body image concerns, chronic pain, life transitions, and family or cultural expectations. She particularly supports women who want to understand and change patterns that may have been carried across relationships or generations.
Her approach is warm, compassionate, collaborative, and gently honest. Therapy with Kritika is not about being analyzed, judged, or told what to do. It is a space to slow down, understand what is happening beneath the surface, and make room for parts of yourself that may not have felt heard before.
Kritika draws from EMDR, expressive arts therapy, CBT, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, and parts-based approaches. Depending on your needs, sessions may involve conversation, practical strategies, creative exploration, or deeper trauma processing. Her work is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, anti-oppressive, and tailored to each client’s pace and lived experience.
As a South Asian immigrant therapist who has lived and studied in different parts of the world, Kritika understands that mental health, identity, family, culture, and belonging are often deeply connected. She aims to create a space where clients do not have to explain or minimize the cultural context surrounding their experiences.
Kritika has over 13 years of experience providing psychotherapy and more than 16 years of experience in the mental-health field. She offers virtual therapy across Ontario and in-person appointments in Vaughan.
