Cupping involves placing glass or silicone cups on the skin to create localized suction. The negative pressure increases blood circulation, promotes tissue oxygenation, and encourages the removal of metabolic waste products from the underlying tissues. It is frequently employed to relieve muscle tension, reduce inflammation, and improve lymphatic drainage, particularly for conditions such as myofascial pain syndrome and respiratory issues. Gua Sha involves scraping a smooth-edged tool across the skin, typically on the back, neck, or limbs, to improve circulation, enhance tissue repair and relieve muscle tension. It can help alleviate pain, reduce inflammation, and promote overall relaxation by stimulating the body's healing response. Moxibustion Moxibustion involves the application of heat generated by burning dried mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris) near specific acupuncture points. This process is intended to stimulate the flow of Qi, warm the meridians, and improve circulation. Moxibustion is particularly beneficial for conditions such as chronic pain, fatigue, and digestive issues. It has been shown to enhance immune function and promote tissue healing by increasing local blood circulation and enhancing the body's adaptive responses. These modalities, when combined with acupuncture, form a comprehensive approach aimed at restoring physiological balance and improving overall health by addressing both the symptoms and underlying causes of disease.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) acupuncture is a holistic therapeutic approach that focuses on restoring balance and promoting the body's natural healing processes. Acupuncture involves the insertion of fine needles into specific points along meridians to regulate Qi flow, alleviate pain, and address dysfunctions in various physiological systems. The technique has been used to treat a wide range of conditions, including musculoskeletal pain, digestive disorders, and neurological imbalances, by modulating the body's autonomic nervous system and promoting homeostasis.
