Their own words###Registered Provisional Psychologist
#####I specialize in working with both teens (12+) and adults.
I have a special interest and experience working with teen clients (12+) and young adults as they navigate a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, abuse, low self-esteem, suicidal ideation, eating disorders, school stress, friendship and relationship issues, behavioural concerns, body image, emotional regulation, peer pressure, neurodiversity, substance use, family dynamics, and academic struggles.
Today’s teens face immense pressure, and coping with life’s challenges can feel overwhelming. In a constantly changing world, parents may often feel helpless in supporting their children through these struggles. I provide a safe, supportive space where youth can openly express themselves without fear of being dismissed, judged, or controlled. Together, we work on building healthy boundaries, improving communication, understanding relationships, managing emotions, and developing healthier coping strategies."
I also work with adults experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, stress, phobias, chronic pain, parenting challenges, and more. Just like my work with teens, my goal is to support adults in learning to cope, heal, and thrive. Life transitions can bring complex and confusing challenges, and day-to-day demands can often feel overwhelming. My therapy space offers a supportive environment where you can explore past and present experiences, process emotions, gain self-understanding, and develop strategies and skills to move toward healing and growth.
I take the time to truly listen and understand my clients—their experiences, concerns, and what they’re going through—creating a space where they feel seen, heard, and validated.
#####Sometimes our experiences and emotions can feel overwhelming and difficult to manage on our own.
When personal experiences and emotions become overwhelming, they can lead to struggles such as anxiety, negative thoughts, difficulty enjoying life, identity confusion, and a sense of losing control. These challenges can also impact our relationships and overall well-being. But there is hope—therapy can offer a path forward.
I’m here to support you in making sense of your experiences and finding effective ways to cope. Naming and facing the emotions that come with trauma or mental health challenges is not easy. My goal is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you process your experiences, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and build practical skills to manage personal and relational difficulties.
My approach is integrative and draws from a variety of evidence-based methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), hypnosis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and more.
#####You don’t have to go through this alone—I’m here to support you on your mental health journey.
Using an integrative, client-centered approach, I draw from a variety of techniques to collaboratively create a treatment plan that fits your unique needs. Together, we’ll set meaningful goals and develop a course of action that feels right for you. Let’s take the first steps toward positive change.
