**Laura is no longer accepting ICBC patients.** Laura graduated from York St John University, England, in 2018. Her journey in physiotherapy has spanned from Musculoskeletal outpatients to Neurological, Orthopedics, Acute Medicine and Pelvic Floor Health. This additional training has equipped her with understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the pelvic floor. She is able to assess and treat individuals with issues around bladder and bowel function, pelvic pain and sexual health. As a lifelong learner, she is aware of the ever-developing nature of physiotherapy practice and brings evidence-based rehabilitation to her clients. Person-specific treatments that align with your goals and motivation to enable you a successful rehabilitation journey.

This includes a discussion of your accident, medical history, and goals, followed by a physical examination to evaluate mobility, strength, posture, and movement patterns. Based on your assessment, your therapist will provide an individualized treatment plan. Your first session may include gentle manual therapy, guided exercises, education on injury management, and strategies to reduce pain and improve mobility. You will also receive a personalized home exercise program to support your recovery between visits.
