Lauren is passionate about supporting clients navigating relationships (romantic, family, friends, work). She also enjoys working with clients on developing deeper fulfillment and a stronger sense of self through understanding their inner values and strengths. Lauren has expertise in working with anxiety, depression, big life transitions, and stress management, as well.
As a therapist, Lauren approaches clients with genuine curiosity and empathy. She actively collaborates with you to develop a strong therapeutic relationship that feels safe and supportive. She deeply values the inherent dignity and worth of all individuals. Her approach is rooted in trauma-informed principles and guided by strengths-based, feminist and anti-oppressive practices.
Lauren holds a Masters of Social Work from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology and Child & Family Studies from the University of Guelph. She is a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (#831653).
