Lauren earned her Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology with co-op at the University of Waterloo and went on to complete her Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Western Ontario. Growing up as both a figure skater and soccer player, she developed an early appreciation for the importance of movement, recovery, and staying healthy to perform at your best. During her time at Waterloo, Lauren worked as a student trainer with several varsity teams. This experience gave her valuable insight into the demands athletes face, as well as the strategies that help them recover from injury and return to competition. At Depth, she brings this same knowledge and passion to her patients, using a combination of exercise-based rehab, hands-on treatment, and movement education. She enjoys helping people regain confidence in their bodies, whether that means returning to sport, staying active at the gym, or simply being able to enjoy everyday activities without discomfort. Lauren is passionate about tailoring treatment to each individual and finding ways to keep rehab engaging and goal-oriented. She believes that recovery should not just get people back to baseline, but help them move better, feel stronger, and stay active long-term. Outside of the clinic, Lauren loves to golf, paddle board, and spending time at the beach. When she’s not active herself, she’s likely watching a game - any sport will do.
