Leah has a passion for helping others improve their physical fitness and health no matter the starting point. Having made a New Year’s resolution in 2015 to start going to the gym and improve her own physical health, she developed a strong interest in rehabilitation and self-care and now aims to share that with all her clients. Originally from Sudbury, Ontario, Leah relocated to central Alberta in 2013, where she completed a thesis-based Master of Science in Experimental Surgery followed by a Master of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Alberta. She has also completed her Manual Therapy Level one and has her full body certification in functional dry needling. After having previously worked in Grande Prairie treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, Leah has returned to Red Deer to be closer to family. In addition to her passion for rehabilitation & physical fitness, Leah also has a keen interest in strength training, travelling, yoga, hiking, visual arts, piano, vocal training, cuddling with her cats and spending time with her family. Leah joined the Collegiate team in March 2023.
