AjouterLeasa graduated from Dalhousie University’s physiotherapy program in Halifax in 2000. She began her physiotherapy career in Nova Scotia, where she practised for seven years before moving to Alberta. In 2019, she joined Global Physiotherapy, bringing with her nearly two decades of experience.
She has extensive clinical expertise treating a wide spectrum of conditions, including whiplash (WAD), sprains and strains, sports injuries, arthritis, torticollis, TMJ dysfunction, repetitive strain injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation.

In her practice, Leasa treats musculoskeletal conditions across the lifespan, with an emphasis on detailed assessment and individualized treatment planning. To optimize outcomes, she integrates manual and manipulative therapy, Gunn IMS for neuropathic pain, k-taping, blood flow restriction therapy, exercise prescription, patient education, and therapeutic modalities. She is committed to delivering one-to-one, evidence-based care and developing customized exercise programs aligned with each patient’s functional goals.
Outside of her practice, Leasa loves spending time with her horse, Kami. She also values staying active through yoga and strength training. Most of all, she treasures time with her husband and her grown sons.

A detailed vertigo, dizziness, and/or concussion evaluation with Ashlin Chamberlain. Standardized tests will be used. Vestibular First Goggles and computer recording of eye testing can be included.
Follow up treatment to improve vestibular, dizziness, and/or concussion symptoms.

A one-hour physiotherapy assessment to set a baseline of the participant's function and any physical modifications to begin the ONERO osteoporosis exercise class.
Follow-up reassessment for the ONERO program
Poonam Patel or Jeri Williams will use a series of researched functional tests to set a baseline or to evaluate progress of participants of the ONERO program.
A one-hour assessment with Poonam Patel, only, who has 11 years clinical experience, five in Canada. The assessment will focus on either the upper or lower quadrant and include a trreatment. Treatment can include medical acupuncture or vestibular rehabilitation for dizziness.
