Hi! I’m so glad you’re here! Reaching out for support is such a wonderful step in ensuring your wellness. Navigating our emotional health can be hard. Thank you for trusting me with yours.
During our work together, we will explore how we are shaped by our early experiences and how our emotions guide us to better understand ourselves. We won’t be learning quick strategies to coping, conflict resolution or emotion management, but instead we will slow down and work to uncover the underlying patterns that drive our perceptions of the world, our relationships with others, and our relationship with ourselves. I believe that our emotions, moods, and bodies hold valuable information about who we are and I hope to create a space where you can dig a little deeper to gain a better understanding of yourself and your relationships.
I have specialized skills supporting those recovering from familial/relationship ruptures and estrangement, those living with PTSD, as well as survivors of acute and complex trauma (C-PTSD). I utilize somatic (body) therapy methods (such as EMDR) in addition to talk therapy (IFS, EFT) to teach the body how to regulate itself from trauma and experience more authentic connection. I take this approach with individuals as well as with couples and families.
I believe that my most important therapy tool is the relationship between myself and my clients. It is through the safety of this relationship that all else can be explored.
In-person sessions are recommended for the deeper processing that takes place during our sessions, however video appointments are available for those who require this. I do not offer phone appointments at this time.
