Iyengar Yoga Instructor, UBC Island Medical Program Clinical Educator Linda is the co-owner of the clinic and has a Masters of Physical Therapy from McMaster University. She has worked in private practise in Greater Victoria for 20+ years. She has a strong background in Biomechanics, Sports Injury/Performance, and Manual Therapy. She has worked with Chronic Pain patients for 15+ years and finds this work very rewarding. She is an associate of Physiotherapy Association of BC, Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, and is a Pain Champion with Pain BC. She has done speaking engagements for PABC, Olympic Athletes, Running Room, YMCA, Panorama Rec Centre, local Physiotherapists, local GP’s, and the Pain Modules for GP's General Practice Support Initiatives. She is a Clinical Instructor for the UBC/UVIC Island Medical Program. She has taught Iyengar Yoga for 12 years to inject Primary Prevention into her community. Linda is the 3rd recipient in Canada of the Diploma in Equine Rehab to help horse and rider performance. When not problem solving in the clinic, you can find her road or mountain biking, horseback riding, golfing, hiking with her 2 whippets, meditating, or doing yoga.

Feeling unbalanced on your horse? Left lead canter harder than it should be? It might be your own body imbalances being communicated through the saddle. This session happens in-person on your horse, at your barn. We use a Visualize alignment jacket, with video biomechanical analysis.

This is for your horse! Book this if your horse is in need of Physio for acute injury, post-surgery, rehabilitation, sport performance or chronic aging/maintenance. Note: A barn fee will be added to appointment.
Do you have pain or stiffness somewhere in your body during or after riding? How about your instructor constantly reminding you to sit a certain way? This individual session will address rider body imbalances. This is an in-clinic appointment. For on-horse sessions at your barn, please book a Functional On-Horse Riding Assessment.
