About Lindsay
Lindsay earned her Bachelor's of Kinesiology (2024) from the University of Alberta (UofA) and now works as a kinesiologist, dance teacher, and clinical pilates instructor. She is passionate about health, fitness, and helping people of all ages build strength, confidence, and longevity through movement.
Movement has been an integral part of Lindsay’s life since she began dancing at the age of 4. Since then, she has trained extensively in Highland, Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz and Irish dance, completing many exams in Highland, Ballet, and Irish, including her STDA Highland Members exam. Throughout her years of dance training, Lindsay had the opportunity to perform across the world, including performances in Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and the Okanagan Military Tattoo. She is also grateful for the opportunity to have trained with Motives Dance Company’s pre-professional company and the UofA's MOD contemporary group.
In addition to Lindsay’s background in dance, she became certified in soft tissue release and first responder first aid during her 3 years as a student Kinesiologist with the UofA's Varsity Health and Pandas soccer.
Through Lindsay’s recent completion of the Indepth Clinical Pilates certificate, she has strengthened her ability to analyze movement, provide effective cueing, and clinical reasoning skills. With a strong foundation in Kinesiology and dance, she has always valued the positive impacts movement has on individual goals—from achieving pain-free activities of daily living to enhancing athletic performance. Clinical Pilates has fostered an even greater appreciation for the diversity of movement patterns and approaches that can be utilized to help clients move and feel their best.
