About Lindy
Do you ever feel like you’re juggling too much and constantly falling short? Maybe you’re navigating a major life transition, struggling with anxiety or self-doubt, or feeling stuck between wanting change and not knowing where to begin. Perhaps your relationships feel strained, or you’re trying to set boundaries while worrying how others might respond. Whatever brings you here, you don’t have to face it alone.
I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist and Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) from Yorkville University. I work with children (ages 9+), pre-teens, teens, adults, and couples, supporting clients through the messy, complicated, and very human parts of life; anxiety, stress, self-doubt, relationship challenges, emotional regulation, and the lasting impact of past experiences.
I believe therapy doesn’t need to feel stiff, intimidating, or overly clinical. Instead, I strive to create a space where you can take a deep breath, show up just as you are, and feel safe enough to laugh, cry, reflect, or simply say, “I don’t know where to start.” Our work begins by exploring what brings you to therapy and identifying your goals, then collaborating on practical, meaningful strategies that support growth, confidence, and clarity.
When working with children and families, therapy often includes games, drawing, stories, or creative activities to help make sense of big feelings, because healing and growth don’t always happen through “serious talk” alone. Whether we’re playing, problem-solving, or sitting with difficult emotions, my goal is to create a space that feels safe, genuine, and deeply human.
My therapeutic style is collaborative, compassionate, and down-to-earth. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), while grounding my work in client-centred and humanistic principles. This integrative approach allows me to meet you where you are, honour your lived experiences, and tailor therapy to what works best for you. Healing is about uncovering strengths, building new tools, and creating space for meaningful change.
Therapy with me is a place where you can be real and be supported without judgment. Life can feel heavy enough; therapy doesn’t need to add to that weight. If you’re ready to feel more grounded, connected, and empowered in your life, I would be honoured to walk alongside you.
