###Speech-Language Pathologist
I am a highly experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with more than 15 years of clinical practice supporting children, adolescents, and adults with diverse and complex communication needs. I am committed to evidence-based, neuro-affirmative, and family-centred care, with clinical expertise spanning social communication, phonological awareness, and childhood apraxia of speech (CAS). My work reflects a comprehensive approach that views communication within the broader context of relationships, emotional well-being, and day-to-day environments...not as a skill developed in isolation.
I have completed advanced professional training in several leading intervention programs, including Hanen, LSVT LOUD, Social Thinking, and Apraxia Kids Level 2, and I am most recently certified as a FRM-Affiliated Clinical Educator. These frameworks inform my individualized treatment planning and allow me to tailor intervention to each client’s abilities, goals, and lived experience. My clinical practice includes extensive experience supporting individuals with autism, ADHD, developmental language disorder, anxiety, childhood apraxia of speech, and those with communication challenges related to trauma histories. I approach all clients from a trauma-informed and strengths-based perspective, prioritizing psychological safety, autonomy, and authentic communication.
Over the course of my career, I have worked across private practice, educational settings, and mental-health integrated clinical environments. This has equipped me with a deep understanding of how communication, regulation, learning, and mental health intersect. I collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care and to support clients across all areas of their lives.
I am dedicated to ongoing professional development and remain actively engaged in current research on neurodiversity-affirming practices, motor speech disorders, and social-emotional communication. I strive to cultivate a therapeutic environment grounded in respect, inclusivity, and connection, empowering clients of all ages to build meaningful communication skills that enrich their daily interactions and overall well-being.
I am honored to support individuals and families on their communication journey and to contribute to a clinic community focused on integrated, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health care.
