About Lonnie
Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, trauma, relational and parenting stresses, and the complexities of life’s challenges. I understand how difficult it can be to carry these feelings alone, and I want you to know you are not alone in this journey. With over 20 years of experience supporting children, youth, adults, and families, I warmly offer a trauma-informed, relational, and strengths-based approach designed to help clients feel truly seen, heard, and supported. My practice blends psychoeducation, coaching, and therapeutic interventions to nurture insight, build inner strength, and promote healing.
As an Ojibway therapist with mixed European ancestry and a proud member of Bingwi Neyaashi Anishinaabek, I embrace a Two-Eyed Seeing perspective, gently weaving Indigenous and Western ways of knowing to provide culturally grounded, holistic care, especially for Indigenous clients. Above all, I am deeply committed to creating a welcoming, safe, and collaborative space where clients feel comfortable sharing their stories, exploring their emotions, and growing toward resilience, connection, and meaningful transformation. Together, we will walk this path with compassion and understanding, empowering you to find hope and healing at your own pace.
