I am an intern counsellor with Some Other Solutions, where I am currently completing the final stage of a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.
I believe that clients are the primary experts on themselves and their life journey. At times when life can feel heavy, I feel it is an honour to walk along with a client and listen to their story, while helping them in building on strengths and renewing their resilience in moving forward. My passion lies in assisting clients with enhancing their life skills and supporting them in facing those life’s challenges. I am passionate about using Cognitive Behavioural, Psychodynamic, Solution Focused and Narrative Therapy, and tailor treatments plans to each client's needs.
I have lived in Fort McMurray for over ten years and in that time, I have had the opportunity to learn from a multitude of individuals with different cultural backgrounds.
