As a Master of Counselling Student, I aim to create a safe, welcoming, judgement free environment where you feel supported as we work collaboratively, drawing on client-centered and evidence-based practices, as we explore your unique lived experiences, thoughts, and emotions while creating goals and mapping out a path towards meaningful change.

“The initial intake is a session for parents/guardians to discuss the reason for referral, complete informed consent, and discuss a treatment plan individualized for their child/teen. It is recommended children and teens don't attend this session to allow conversations to happen freely. For older teens (14+) it may be therapeutically beneficial to include them in this part of the therapy process and parent/guardian judgement can be used to make this decision. The therapeutic hour is 50 minutes + 10 minutes for notes.”
