About Maigan
Their own wordsMaigan is a Registered Provisional Psychologist who works with children (age 6-9), teens (15-18), and adults (18+). She believes that therapy should be unique and customized to fit your life and needs. She leans on a strengths-based approach, and aim to infuse humour into healing and create an open and comfortable space for all.
As someone with ADHD, Maigan has a special interest on working with other neurodivergent folks of any age. Maigan also enjoys working with concerns such as anxiety, depression, attachment trauma, relationship difficulties, navigating major life transitions, and with emerging adults.
Maigan has earned her Master of Counselling degree from City University of Seattle, and previously completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Alberta. She has also completed additional training in EFIT (emotionally focused individual therapy), and Play Therapy for children.
When not working, Maigan loves to spend time enjoying nature, gardening, and relaxing outdoors with her dogs, cats, horses, and chickens.
