About Mandy
Mandy is a Registered Social Worker with more than 22 years of experience in the mental health and addictions field, working across both community and institutional settings. Since beginning her Social Work education in 2002, she has completed her Master of Social Work degree along with a variety of additional courses and professional certifications to further support her clinical practice.
Mandy is passionate about providing person-centred psychotherapy that honours each individual’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals. She takes a holistic, biopsychosocial approach to care, recognizing the complex factors that influence a person’s past and present experiences, emotional wellbeing, and overall quality of life.
Using a trauma-informed and strengths-based framework, Mandy integrates a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s needs. She supports individuals in areas such as trauma processing, stress management, emotional dysregulation, self-esteem, motivation, emotion regulation, and navigating different forms of burnout. Mandy strives to create a compassionate, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore challenges, build resilience, and foster meaningful personal growth.
Outside of her professional life, Mandy enjoys staying active and connected to nature through kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, biking, and travelling. She is also passionate about physical fitness and nutrition and values spending quality time with family and friends.
