About Manupriya
MA Psychology, Registered Therapeutic Counsellor ( RTC-ACCT),Clinical Counselling Hypnotherapist ( C.HypTM – Trauma Specialist)
My personal and professional guiding philosophy is simple: Spreading smiles.
If our paths cross, my intention is to facilitate a collaborative space for counseling and healing so that you can confidently take charge of your life. While therapy does not offer guaranteed overnight fixes, I believe that by working together, we can help relieve your distress and bring a genuine sense of joy back into your days.
I have been in this field for over two decades—working in hospitals, schools, and managing my own mental wellness clinic in India, before establishing my practice here in Canada. Through it all, my deep reverence for the human spirit has remained unchanged. I am genuinely curious about the hidden layers of our experiences: the subconscious patterns, the stored somatic energy, and what becomes possible when we finally bridge the gap between the mind, body, and soul.
I help you understand and together we gently explore the root cause of your current challenges. By navigating these underlying patterns together, you can release stored physical tension and create profound, lasting peace.
First and foremost, I am firmly rooted in evidence-based clinical approaches and committed to solution-focused outcomes. My approach is fiercely integrative and universally trauma-informed. I do not have one standard approach because true recovery is rarely one-dimensional. What differentiates my practice is the seamless blending of evidence-based clinical psychology with transcendental, spiritual, and subconscious frameworks.
Regardless of what brings you into my office—whether you are navigating relationship issues, a life transition, seeking spiritual growth, or recovering from a severe accident—every single session is held through a trauma-informed lens. I understand that our histories shape our nervous systems. I prioritize your safety and pacing, drawing heavily from Clinical Hypnotherapy and regression techniques to safely access deeper trauma and energetic blockages, alongside solution-focused strategies for conscious processing.
What that looks like in practice is that I pay attention to your whole self—your physical tension, your energetic blocks, and your spiritual readiness. I tailor our work to help you heal at every level. I will gently challenge you, ground our work in clinical approaches, and equip you with actionable tools to create meaningful change in your daily life.

A bit about me outside the office:I share my life with my husband—who works in the medical field as a physician and anesthesiologist—and our two sons. When I am not in the clinic, I love to travel to new places and deeply immerse myself in different cultures. I am also passionate about cooking, which serves as a wonderful stress buster for me. I believe food is a vital necessity, but it is also a vessel for healing. I practice what I teach—whether through meditation or making a meal—and I bring that same authentic, full-hearted energy into the therapy room with you.
I look forward to connecting with you, and it would be an honor to be a guiding lamp and a pillar of strength on your healing journey.
