If this is your first hand and foot massage at Prairie Spring Massage Therapy it is recommended that you book this appointment as it allows for up to 15 minutes of detailed intake to ensure that all safety considerations are addressed. The remaining 30 minutes is for treatment of the hands and feet with a relaxing and therapeutic intent. Water based lotion is always used to ensure no adverse reactions and ultimate hydration. This treatment can be useful for individuals undergoing chemotherapy.
This treatment time is perfect for an immune system booster or regular maintenance of a general congestion. It is all the time needed for most healthy bodies.
This amount of time is best used for more complicated areas of congestion, a recent bout of sickness, or if it has been a while since your last lymphatic appointment. It allows for a full body treatment or concentrated work on one or two areas.
If you have never had lymphatic work previously this appointment is recommended. It allows for a detailed intake of at least 15 minutes to discuss the reason for treatment as well as looking into your health history to ensure this treatment is right for you. Lymphatic work is slow and gentle and while it can have a profound effect on your system it is also very relaxing.
This is a treatment time recommended for a targeted treatment of one or two therapeutic concerns. It is best used to address pre/post surgery lymphatic health, or as a follow up breast treatment in healthy breast tissue.
This is the most common treatment time booked. It generally allows for main complaints to be addressed as well as a couple of secondary concerns. The timing is enough to not over fatigue you if we are working in sensitive areas. Excellent for parasympathetic relaxation.
This treatment time is fantastic for achieving a deeper level of parasympathetic relaxation due to it's unhurried format. It allows for detailed breast work involving scars, chording, swelling, and can address complaints in other areas of the body all in the same treatment.
If you are looking for focused work on a couple of musculoskeletal conditions or a more general full body treatment this appointment time is recommended. Treatment is slow and firm so while it is deeply relaxing it is also therapeutically effective.

A 90 minute massage is best used for a full body massage with a focus on a specific problem or combined with a lymphatic drainage "tune up".
This follow-up treatment time allows for a full body treatment as well as the ability to focus on a couple of problem areas. Other modalities are easily incorporated into this time frame while still maintaining the overall relaxation.
