About Marie-Claude
Their own wordsMarie-Claude holds a bachelor's degree in nutrition and a bachelor's degree in physical activity from Université Laval. She is also a registered massage therapist. She is a member of the Ordre des diététistes-nutritionnistes du Québec (ODNQ) and a member of the FQM as a massage therapist.
In her nutrition practice, she helps her clients adopt and maintain healthy lifestyle habits in the long term. She places their needs and motivations at the heart of her interventions. She firmly believes that active listening and teamwork are essential to identifying these elements and establishing a relationship of trust. Her approach is to place the client at the center of her intervention, so that they feel involved and motivated to make the necessary changes, because they will have decided on their own objectives, with her support and guidance.
Thanks to her professional experience, she has acquired diverse expertise, covering areas such as weight management, muscle gain, oncology, gastrointestinal diseases (irritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, etc.), hypertension, diabetes, fatty liver disease or liver cirrhosis, eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, etc.), sports nutrition, intuitive eating, vegetarianism, and metabolic disorders. She has excellent communication skills, which help her convey her knowledge clearly and easily.
She will guide and support you in achieving your goals, while helping you develop and maintain a healthy relationship with food. Her approach is caring and professional, fostering trust and motivation in her clients on their journey to better health.
Her experience as a sports coach can also be invaluable in helping those who want to become more physically active.
Her approach to massage therapy is primarily therapeutic. She focuses on the specific issue and works with you to restore your body's balance. She primarily uses Thai oil massage and Swedish massage, which allows her to more easily address muscular, joint, and other problems. Mobility exercises are integrated into her treatments to promote improved mobility. Her genuine concern for your health and well-being, combined with her desire to heal, creates an environment conducive to support and improve your well-being. She has developed a commitment to helping each client to the best of her ability and maintains excellent communication skills, which optimizes results.
