Their own wordsMark graduated from Simon Fraser University (SFU), obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Active Health and Rehabilitation.
Mark has several years of experience competing as a former powerlifter, attending several British Columbia Powerlifting Association competitions. Mark suffered a back injury that steered his passion to working in the active recovery field to help individuals return to activities they previously enjoyed that have been halted by injury. His years of experience as an athlete and strength and conditioning coach have refined his knowledge of exercise prescription and programming. Mark strongly utilizes his knowledge of sports performance and progression to bridge the gap between performance work and active rehabilitation.
Mark has years of experience working in the orthotics field involving clinical bracing, orthotic inserts, and orthopedic footwear, developing his holistic approach to rehabilitation. Mark’s goal is to educate and help clients achieve and surpass their health and fitness goals sustainably.
When Mark is not weightlifting or being active, he enjoys tinkering with keyboards and mice.
