I have been a Registered Nurse since 2007 and have a strong background in many areas of adult nursing practice including: Nursing Instruction, Advanced Practice/Intensive Care, Mental Health and Addictions, Workplace Issues, Occupational Health Nursing, and Community Health.
I'm passionate about helping people live their best and healthiest life, mentally and physically.

With extensive experience in family systems, I work with families to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and nurture stronger, healthier relationships. This is for two participants and myself. Both participants are in the same room and view the same screen.
1.5 hours with a nurse practitioner who specializes in mental health and trauma for diagnosis. An in-depth assessment, completion of several mental health screening tools, mental health counselling, and treatment planning.
Support for issues (workplace, home, life, etc.) that are creating mental health challenges. -Work with individuals, groups and communities to improve mental health -Encourage clients to discuss emotions and experiences -Examine issues including substance abuse, aging, bullying, anger management, careers, depression, relationships, LGBTQ issues, self-image, stress and suicide -Work with families -Help clients define goals, plan action and gain insight -Develop therapeutic processes -Refer clients to nurse practitioners if medication is recommended as part of the treatment plan -Take a holistic (mind and body) approach to mental health care
