With extensive experience in family systems, I work with families to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and nurture stronger, healthier relationships. This is for two participants and myself. Both participants are in the same room and view the same screen.

1.5 hours with a nurse practitioner who specializes in mental health and trauma for diagnosis. An in-depth assessment, completion of several mental health screening tools, mental health counselling, and treatment planning.

Support for issues (workplace, home, life, etc.) that are creating mental health challenges. -Work with individuals, groups and communities to improve mental health -Encourage clients to discuss emotions and experiences -Examine issues including substance abuse, aging, bullying, anger management, careers, depression, relationships, LGBTQ issues, self-image, stress and suicide -Work with families -Help clients define goals, plan action and gain insight -Develop therapeutic processes -Refer clients to nurse practitioners if medication is recommended as part of the treatment plan -Take a holistic (mind and body) approach to mental health care

To be eligible, the client must be a resident of Canada, and identify as one of the following: - Registered First Nations must be registered Indians according to the Indian Act. Required identifiers: Registration Number - This is a ten (10 digit number, issued by the Government of Canada to clients under the Indian Act. OR NIHB Client Identification Number (B-Number). This number begins with the letter B and is followed by eight (8) digits. - An Inuk recognized by one of the Inuit Land Claim Organizations. Required identifier: Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) Health Plan Number. This is a nine (9) digit number starting with a one (1) and ending in a five (5). OR NIHB Client ID Number (N-Number). This number begins with the letter N and is followed by eight (8) digits.
