After completing her Bachelor of Science at McMaster University, Maya earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in 2005. Maya treats a wide range of conditions, with a focus on weight management, digestive health, women’s health, and stress-related concerns. She practices evidence-based medicine grounded in the core principles of naturopathic care: identifying root causes and removing obstacles to healing. She incorporates blood work as a key tool to uncover underlying imbalances, monitor progress, and guide personalized treatment plans. Maya has a deep interest in yoga and meditation. She completed yoga teacher training at Wilfrid Laurier University and Kundalini yoga teacher training at Yoga West. In her free time, she enjoys Pilates, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family
