About Meaghan
Their own wordsI have been a physiotherapist for 10 years working in the Huron County area. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Ottawa in 2007 and then went on to receive a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto in 2012. I became a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and have spent my career caring for the residents of Huron County. With experience in a wide range of settings including private practice, hospital, long-term care and homecare, I have treated respiratory, neurological and orthopedic conditions in people of all age groups.
In this time I discovered my passion for pelvic floor therapy which focused my education and practice and ultimately led me to open Huron Pelvic Health.
As well as pelvic floor courses I have pursued post graduate education in acupuncture, dry needling and manual therapy. I have continued to further my education in the areas of the female athlete, labour and delivery, pregnancy and post partum issues incorporating treatments with a basis in CBT and yoga therapy. I am passionate about continuing my education and staying up-to-date on current research and treatment techniques.
I am dedicated to working with people to help them achieve their goals and improve their overall wellbeing.
When not in the clinic I enjoy spending time with friends and family, travelling and doing anything active outdoors.
