I am currently not taking on new clients, but I continue to welcome returning clients to book appointments as needed.
I recognize clients as the experts of their own lives and I adapt my approach to meet clients’ individual needs and wants. My aim is to collaborate with clients to facilitate growth and change while focusing on their strengths and values. I often call attention to the present moment in therapy to help clients recognize patterns of thinking and behaviour. I believe the body-mind connection is essential for health and wellbeing and I seek to help clients strengthen that bond within themselves.
I hold a Master of Counselling in Applied Psychology with a Specialization in Counselling Psychology from the University of Lethbridge, as well as bachelor’s degrees in English and Education. My professional experience includes 10 years of teaching high school, curriculum development, and working with neurodiverse children and their parents.
I work from attachment-based and trauma-informed perspectives and can help you with: Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Grief & Loss, Guilt & Shame, Self-Harm, Relationship Concerns, Faith-based Issues, ADHD, Life Transitions, and Personal Growth.
