Melanie has been practicing massage therapy since 1996. She believes in looking at the whole picture when putting together a treatment plan for the wellness of patients. Having played many sports, participated in Ironman, off-road triathlon and trail running races, she has a strong background in sports related issues. She has worked with elite ultramarathon runners, strongest competitors alive, Olympic athletes and other sports enthusiasts. She enjoys looking at how fitness can help increase the effectiveness of massage therapy. She believes in keeping an open mind to all alternative therapies and will not hesitate to suggest when she feels patients may need help outside of massage therapy, or simply from another massage therapist if her skills don’t suit the needs. Her mission is to make sure all patients receive the best care possible. She has taken many continuing education courses over her career that have given her a better understanding of human movement, fascial restrictions and updated treatment techniques. Melanie enjoys working with patients of all ages and backgrounds, always striving to solve issues with pain or mobility in a holistic way.
