Mia Wang, RMT
Mia Wang was born and raised in Calgary, AB and has a strong passion for supporting others in their journey to recovery. From a young age, she was driven by a desire of helping people improve their physical well-being, which ultimately led her to pursue a career dedicated to optimizing patient health and performance.
Mia earned a Massage Therapy Diploma from Lethbridge Polytechnic (formerly Lethbridge Community College) and graduated from a nationally accredited program. She is currently in her fourth year at the University of Regina, working toward a Bachelor of Kinesiology in Human Kinetics. Mia is eager to expand her knowledge and skills, with the goal of broadening her ability to help individuals from a more comprehensive perspective. She has been applying her knowledge working as a student trainer with the Women’s Soccer team and Track & Field/Cross Country team at the University of Regina.

Within her current scope of practice, Mia integrates a variety of techniques tailored to each patient’s needs and goals. This includes a brief assessment/intake, therapeutic massage, relaxation massage, and swedish massage techniques, which are designed to provide personalized care and results.

Enrich Neurorehab is a community exercise program for people living with chronic neurological conditions. The program provides individually-designed, evidence-informed exercise training for people experiencing challenges with movement due to the long-term effects of a neurological condition (e.g., stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, traumatic brain injury).

Assessment for the UR Gold group exercise program for older adults. A Certified Exercise Physiologist provides individualized exercise programming that focuses on enhancing functionality for individuals with one or more controlled health conditions. A controlled health condition is a condition that has been present for 6 or more months post-diagnosis. A doctor's clearance letter is required before the assessment.
