Michelena graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria in 2021. Michelena has an interest in treating headaches, migraines, TMJ dysfunction/ pain, mental health, chronic pain and abdominal conditions. She enjoys incorporating abdominal massage when indicated as it can help relieve symptoms of minor intestinal discomforts, constipation and even help with lowering stress levels. Michelena focuses on the overall wellbeing of her clients ,and understands the effects chronic pain can have both physically and mentally. She is dedicated to making her clients feel safe, heard, and cared for. Her interest in health and wellness stems from her own experience with massage and feeling the positive benefits it can have.

This is a 30 minute appointment focusing on the jaw and related structures. This can be beneficial for jaw pain and clicking, headaches, and teeth grinding or clenching. Treatment can be done to external structures only, or it can include muscles inside the mouth as well. Your therapist will discuss treatment options with you and will only provide intra-oral treatment with your consent.
