About Michelle
Their own wordsHello! I am a Registered Social Worker with extensive experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. Therapy sessions with me focus on a strengths-based perspective, and we can work on managing thoughts and feelings through Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I also provide trauma-informed care, making sure I understand how past experiences might affect you so that I can support you in a way that fits who you are and what you need.
I work with teens and adults, including seniors, who are dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, major life transitions, and patterns of self-criticism. I understand that asking for help can feel intimidating, but my goal is to make sure you feel safe, comfortable, and listened to. My approach is calm, down-to-earth, and highly collaborative – I believe that therapy is a partnership, and together we will identify your goals and develop strategies that foster meaningful change.
I am deeply committed to helping people build resilience, feel more confident, and and become more connected to others. In our sessions together, we will work on practical ways to handle tough situations, understand your emotions better, and build habits that will help you feel better in the long run. Whether you are going through something new or want to change old patterns, I am here to support you and go at your pace.
If you are ready to talk or want to give therapy a try, I am here to help you figure things out and feel better about yourself and your life.
