About Michelle
Michelle Tocher is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists who was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. She holds a Master of Education in School and Applied Child Psychology from the University of Calgary and brings a unique perspective through her background as both a teacher and psychologist.

Michelle specializes in supporting children, adolescents, and families, with particular expertise in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), including assessment, diagnosis, and intervention. She is trained in the SCERTS framework and uses a neurodiversity-affirming approach that supports social communication, emotional regulation, and meaningful growth.
Her practice integrates a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Equine-Assisted Wellness. Michelle is passionate about helping clients build resilience, develop insight, and create lasting, positive change
