Their own wordsAs a Physiotherapist at Kinatex Downtown, Minh-Tam Tran combines a passion for sports and the human body with his expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation. A graduate of McGill University in 2019, he joined Kinatex Sports Physio in 2019 with an additional Masters degree in physiotherapy.
Minh excels in orthopedic manual therapy, rehabilitation of concussions, temporomandibular and vestibular dysfunctions, and his use of dry needling, offering personalized treatments to clients. He is certified by Complete Concussions (CCMI), an advanced comprehensive and evidenced-based training course for the management of concussions.
His patient-centered treatment philosophy focuses on finding and adressing the root cause of the problem in order to achieve his patients' objectives. Minh prioritizes education, as he strongly believes that understanding your body is the first step in recovery. Minh then collaborates with his patients in order to find long term solutions.
Fluent in French and English, Minh ensures effective communication with a diverse clientele. Being diligent and meticulous, Minh always aims to improve in everything he does, including his work, by doing continuing education courses, as well as in hobbies such as football and weight lifting.
Minh works with a very diverse clientele but has a particular interest in working with football players and weight lifters. He combines his knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics with his experience in football and weight lifting to optimize his clients' recovery and performance.
