About Namita
Namita is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. She is practicing from a trauma-informed lens, offering a safe, compassionate, and empathic space for clients throughout their journey of self-discovery, healing, and self-empowerment.
Namita provides counselling services in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, and works with adolescents and adults experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, loneliness, and relationship difficulties. Her approach is holistic and client-centered, with a strong focus on understanding the emotional, cultural, relational, and personal aspects of each individual’s life.
Namita has a specialized training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Somatic Therapy (MBST), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Namita believes that people are remarkably resilient and possess an innate capacity for healing and growth. Her role is to walk alongside you with support, curiosity, and compassion as you work together to uncover strengths, insights, and solutions that may already exist within you.
